I have been challenging myself to go out of my comfort zone a wee bit and use watercolor markers instead of Copics. I blame that Kathy over at the 30 Day Color Challenge blog 😉
What I like about this floral image in particular, is the larger petals to give me room to experiment with the markers. As I added the water, I saw the blending effect the water had. This can be hard to see with smaller images.
I have a number of Zig markers now and my collection is building. I really enjoy the small brush as it helps with adding fine detail. When used on Bristol smooth card stock the color goes on like butter!
I think if I can do this, anyone can. So, get out some watercolor medium and a stamped image and have a go.
Sending hugs, Cheryl 🙂
