Craft Room Organization

Hi Guys, I had a notion to do a little bit of craft room organization this weekend. I do have a preoccupation with keeping my craft room organized, and even though it’s not that untidy, I wanted to do some batches of pre cut A2 stitched backgrounds. I thought it would be great to have some at the ready for when I want to just go in my room to create.

I regularly use the Femme Frames by Mama Elephant. They are a staple die in my collection as they give super clean cuts and basically you could use them with every single card you make. It was a great feeling to do a bundle ready to go….but I didn’t stop there!

I don’t know about you, but I can buy a die and think ‘ooooo,  I would get a lot of use out of that’, or ‘I would love to see what it look like when utilized’. Trouble is, I end up storing them all away all neat and tidy just as Jennifer Maguire showed me how to. Then, I forget they are there (I hope Jennifer doesn’t mind me linking you to her video’s, she is awesome and it was her idea). Craft Room Work2

So, I went through some dies and cut some banners, objects, shapes etc and put the cuts in the sleeves ready to go …yay! It’s amazing I have reached a point in my life that I can put on a little music and do some die cutting with my fabulous Sizzix Big Shot and feel really chilled doing something I find truly enjoy.

I do hope you get to do things you truly enjoy in your lives….

As always, do not hesitate to send me your comments as I would love to hear your thoughts and ideas about your craft room organization.

Bye for now

Cheryl 🙂

My Craft Room

Hi guys, I have been absent from the front end of my website for a while as I have been working on the back end of the site, as well has being on vacation. I have taken a few shots of my craft room which I will be adding to the craft room page on the site, but there is a sneak peek.

My craft room has been building over the last five years or so and as you can probably tell from my style on the website, I like a bit of vintage chic! I just love the black and white damask and it feels lush when I go in there to work. I am a real girlie girl too, so my website and my craft room do represent me.

Along the left side of the wall you will see my stash of stamp sets, including Stamping Up, Unity, Gina K, My Favourite Things, Mama Elephant etc. I have spent a fortune! I have tried many different quality stamps, and you can definitely tell when companies are not using good quality materials. This is why I wanted to save you guys buying products that you will not get the best results from and link you to great stamps. The photo is proof that I have tried many!

As you look around, you will see tools and gadgets from Copic markers to the fabulous ATG tape runner.

I just love my craft room and it makes me feel so excited and creative!
